Learn MoreAmanda Siskind is the Associate Manager for the Corporate Grants Program at Main Street America. Prior to joining Main Street America full-time, she worked as a contractor reviewing grant applications and providing administrative support to what would become her future team. Her professional background is primarily in project management spanning across various fields, including corporate facilities, arts and theater, and environmental and sexuality/gender rights-focused nonprofits. She values opportunities to make systems run smoothly and efficiently, especially when doing so requires being creative to secure resources within tight budgets.
Amanda grew up in New England and has since made her way westward. She attended Oberlin College in Ohio where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Peace & Conflict Studies, focusing on rebuilding communities following trauma or conflict. She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
