Community Spotlight: Skowhegan Center for Entrepreneurship
Main Street Skowhegan opened their new Skowhegan Center for Entrepreneurship, a downtown space for co-working, meeting, entrepreneurial support, trainings, and education.
As Associate Manager of Content and Communications, Marta is responsible for identifying storytelling opportunities, researching and writing articles and resources, and amplifying the work of Main Streets across the nation using our website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
Prior to joining MSA in 2022, Marta worked with Historic New England, the National Park Service, and the National Trust for Scotland. Marta received her BA in History from Cornell University and her MLitt in Scottish History from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She is passionate about livable cities, community storytelling, winter sports, and her pet rats.
