As the Director of Talent and Culture at Main Street America, Amber is responsible for shaping and implementing a culture that embodies the organization’s core values: community-driven leadership, collaboration and partnership, and equitable and inclusive engagement. She will focus on fostering a culture where grassroots leadership is at the forefront, ensuring that all voices shape the organization’s direction. Amber is committed to advancing anti-racism, promoting inclusion, and ensuring that Main Street America remains at the cutting edge of helping communities prepare for future challenges. 

Amber is a dynamic and experienced leader with over eight years of expertise in empowering underserved communities and driving transformative change in the non-profit sector. Passionate about investing in a company’s greatest asset — its people — Amber is dedicated to building environments where employees, colleagues, and stakeholders feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.

Previously, Amber served as Director of Talent and Culture at America’s Promise Alliance, where she led organizational initiatives to cultivate high performance and inclusion. As a Performance & Talent Specialist, she worked alongside teams to streamline processes, coach managers, and elevate program quality, driving organizational impact through strategic change.

Amber holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and a Master’s in Education from Francis Marion University. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., she actively volunteers at her local Boys & Girls Club, mentoring youth and empowering the next generation of leaders.

Originally from Lake City, South Carolina, Amber’s country roots keep her grounded. A passionate advocate for self-care, she finds joy in cooking, eating, and sharing meals with her loved ones. Amber is also a faith-driven individual who enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, working out, and spending quality time with her daughter and family. Her commitment to growth — both personally and professionally — shapes her work and the positive impact she has on every community she touches.
