Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are important values for Main Street organization. To ensure consistent practices across their organization, Heart of Biddeford created and implemented this DEI plan with guidelines for staff, board members, and others. This plan outlines policies and practices to help Heart of Biddeford maintain their commitment to actively addressing racism directed at people who are Black and Indigenous and People of Color, and all other forms of oppression based on ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, ability, and religion, in their organization, programs, processes, and communications.
