The Main Street America Revitalization Professional (MSARP) credential is the highest level of achievement offered through the Main Street America Institute, requiring dedication to online coursework, engagement with peers across the country in in-depth workshops, and demonstration of mastery of the Main Street approach through an intensive exam. In the midst of a challenging year, these leaders have prioritized professional development and growth in their commercial corridor management careers.
We are thrilled to share the achievement of these Main Street leaders in completing this program – and we hope the entire network will share in saying “congratulations” on this significant achievement. We also invite you to join us for our next Pop-up Conversation: Leading Main Street: Perspectives from MSARP Graduates.
Leadership is at the core of the Main Street Approach, particularly in this challenging year of crisis response, conflict resolution, and continued engagement of stakeholders in the face of uncertainty. Despite the unprecedented events of 2020, Main Street leaders have stepped up to providing increased support to businesses, pivoting to create community in new ways, and navigating the unknown, all of which requires keen leadership skills. Join this conversation, led by Norma Ramirez de Miess, with recent recipients of the Main Street America Revitalization professional credential to get into the weeds on the soft skills that help us approach our work in ways to keep moving forward in a mission-driven way no matter the circumstance.
Main Street Pop-Up Conversations will be casual meet-ups organized around a common topic and facilitated by a member of our staff. You’ll get to hear examples from Main Streets across the country, connect with friends (and make some new ones!), and discuss how these issues are impacting you.
