We’re excited to announce the launch of our annual Main Street Directors Survey. Formerly known as the Main Street Trends Survey, we’ve updated the survey to focus on local program directors, managers, and executive leaders. Every year, your insights directly inform our advocacy efforts, program development, and the stories we tell about the incredible work happening across the Main Street America network.

We invite you to tell us about your Main Street organization and yourself. The survey is intended for leaders of local Main Street organizations. It should take about 15 minutes to complete and will close on Thursday, February 6. Click here to take the survey >

We want to hear from every Main Street organization. Help us reach our goal by completing this survey, and in return, you will automatically be entered for a chance to go to an upcoming Main Street Now Conference on us — a $700+ value! In addition, one prize package will be awarded to a Coordinating Program that has at least 75% of their designated programs responding.

Why Take the Survey?

  • Make your voice heard: Help us understand the unique challenges and triumphs of your local Main Street program and district. Your input ensures we can effectively advocate for your needs and accurately represent the impacts you’re having.
  • Gain valuable insights: Discover how your organization compares to others across the network. We’ll analyze the data to provide benchmarks on salaries, benefit offerings, program priorities, and more, offering valuable insights to inform your strategies.
  • Shape the future of Main Street: Share your vision for the year ahead and tell us what resources and support you need to thrive.

Who Should Participate?

This survey is designed for leaders of local Main Street organizations. Whether you’re a current Main Street America (MSA) member or not, we encourage you to share your experiences. If you’re practicing the Main Street Approach in your community, this survey is for you!

This survey is not intended for Coordinating Programs, Friends of Main Street, or Allied members.

When will the Results be Available?

Results will be shared in March 2025. Keep an eye on our News & Stories feed and our social channels. Subscribe to our newsletter to get the results delivered to your inbox.
